Kaveh Golestan Photojournalism Awards
A total of 3908 photos have been submitted to the secretariat of the second Kaveh Golestan Annual Photojournalism Awards so far, the secretariat announced on Monday.
The awards have been named after photographer Kaveh Golestan, who was killed by a land mine explosion in Iraqi Kurdistan on April 2, 2003 while working for the BBC.
After their details are registered, 927 photos in the Individual Section and 2981 photos in the Collection Section will be published in a book and submitted to the jury members.
Selected photos will be put on display from November 5 to 10 at the Iranian Artists Forum in Tehran.
